Green Throat Sanitizer?!
Little known fact about me, I graduated high school from the International School of Kuala Lumpur (ISKL) in Malaysia, before going back to Tokyo to get a second diploma from Azabu High School (as in “Azabu Distilling Co., LLC, d/b/a American Shochu Company”).
Anyway, my buddy from ISKL, Liesbet Recter, recently shared with me a fantastic green juice recipe, and Lynn and I were blown away!
Very yummy (“umai!”), first of all, and the tingling in your throat feels like the ginger and turmeric is cleansing away, all the way down 🙂
Got me thinking…what if you added a shot of UMAI! Shochu…
(I don’t make any medical claims, but,)
Green Throat Sanitizer
In a Mason Jar or Collins glass,
6 oz Liesbet’s Green Easy Juice (recipe below)
2oz UMAI! Organic Barley Shochu
Stir well.
Drink with a straw (anybody still have our retractable stainless steel straw chotcke from last year?)
Liesbet’s Green Easy Juice Full of Phytonutrients!
If you have a juicer: ginger (I use lots), kale, celery, green apple, & turmeric. Once juiced – mix this juice with pineapple in a blender.
If you do not have a juicer, take the stalks off your kale and chop all ingredients up before placing together in the blender. You can basically add anything fresh!
